Gary McInturff – Chairman Emeritus

Gary was born on March 13th, 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Beverly Louise and Harlan Gil McInturff. He grew up in Arlington, Virginia and was the youngest of 4 children. Gary graduated from Washington and Lee High School in 1972, where he was selected as a Virginia all-state high school football player. Gary went on to attend Virginia Tech where he played football and eventually transferred to George Mason where he played baseball and graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance. Gary met his wife Tracy in 1987 and the two were married in June of 1990. They were blessed with two children: Cole and Maggie.

Gary was a top producing loan officer for several years at Cameron Brown and went on to lead a net branch of Briner Incorporated Mortgage Bankers. In September of 2003, Gary decided to found his own company, Home Savings & Trust Mortgage. Gary was also on the board of directors of Final Salute Inc., which provides homeless women Veterans with safe and suitable housing.

Gary impacted the lives of many and will especially be remembered by others as being an outstanding husband, father, brother, friend, and businessman. He enjoyed golfing, weekends by the water in Southern Maryland, watching Washington DC sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
