Our Team

Travis Light joined Home Savings & Trust Mortgage as a licensed loan officer in the summer of 2021. Travis earned two academic degrees from Florida State University: his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2020 and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration in the spring of 2021. Travis was a 3 time All-ACC Academic Honor Roll student. During his time at FSU, Travis was an integral part of the Florida State Men’s Basketball team from 2016-2021. He was a member of four NCAA tournament teams (advancing to 3 Sweet Sixteens and 1 Elite Eight) and the Seminoles’ 2020 ACC Championship team. Travis was awarded the Unsung Hero award multiple years during his career.

Travis enjoys educating buyers on the loan process and has quickly mastered FHA, VA, VHDA, USDA and conventional loans. Since joining HSTM, Travis has completed the NAMP course to gain his certification as a Certified Master Loan Processor. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports and playing with his dog, Natty.
